Court Outrage – Citizen Resisters Get Harsher Sentences Than IslamoNazi Thugs

Shock, anger, outrage!

I’ve been up in Sukorejo more than once, but not today, so can only imagine community reaction this afternoon, when a court hammered citizen resisters with sentences HEAVIER than the slaps on the wrist handed down a week ago to a couple of IslamoNazi scumbags. The baxis were part of a fanatic raiding party that left an innocent woman dead.

  • Tempo.com reports – Semarang District Court convicted two Sukorejo people, Paedo Gogikularimah and Agus Riadi. They were sentenced to 5 months in prison and a fine of Rp 2,500 . The sentences were heavier than the two members of the Islamic Defenders Front who were previously sentenced to 4 months in prison.

And in case you think I’m going OTT, here’s a voice from outside the court.

“It’s detrimental and unfair to the citizens,” said the Director of the Legal Aid Society of Semarang, Slamet Haryanto, the residents’ legal adviser…the judge’s ruling did not satisfy the principles of justice  – a sentence of five months imprisonment should not have been imposed…

In case you have forgotten the details, those IslamoNazi hoodlums had no business in Sokerjo whatsoever, their intrusion into the small Central Java city purely motivated by sectarian intolerance, one of their infamous Ramadan raiding parties. Naturally local people resented this bigot bully activity, and their resentment boiled over when the nazis’ car hit a housewife and left her dead on the street.

It was only last night that I explained to a commenter that huge numbers of Indonesians, Muslims included, detest these white-shirt vermin, but are unwilling to stand up publicly because the authorities are either hand-in-glove with the scum or else at best see themselves in some sort of referee role between hoods and victims.

This verdict merely confirms my view, and is a blow to every honest citizen of this beautiful country who had hopes that finally those whose duty it is to enforce the law would see to it that justice was done.

Sad to say, this court has dragged Indonesia’s reputation further into the mire. One wonders what that Jakarta Post geezer, who warned us all to leave it to the law, will have to say now.  http://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2013/07/25/dont-outlaw-islamonazis-jakarta-post/
