U.S. Seniors Fighting the Enemy Within! AMAC OK!
Since I wrote about grandparents yesterday, it seems quite relevant that I continue on the theme of senior citizens today, and also offer – as part of my public service policy – the free ad below, for older Americans’ perusal.

I was last in the UK about five years ago, and was mildly shocked to notice in the media that Jack Jones, a notorious communist sympathiser and alleged Soviet agent, had turned up as President of something called the National Pensioners’ Convention, which liked to present itself, with questionable authority, as spokesthing for Britain’s OAPs.
Jones was a senior figure in Labour Party politics, despite having a long and undisguised record of involvement in Communist Party causes, not least his time with the International Brigade in the Spanish Civil War. Unlike leftwingers with a conscience, like George Orwell, who also went to fight Franco’s forces, and came back to expose the evil Communist back-stabbing of democratic elements on the Republican side, Jones openly served as a ‘political commssar,’ an enforcer for marxist ideology.

Back in Britain, he worked his way up to become leader of the UK’s largest union, the TGWU, and in the powerful role this gave him vis-a-vis the Labour Party, he continued to boost the Enemy Within, openly endorsing the Morning Star, the Communist newspaper.
He denied he was simultaneously supporting their puppeteers in Moscow, but a famous KGB defector, Oleg Gordiesky, identified him as a Soviet agent. This claim was supported In the The Defence Of The Realm, an authorised history of Britain’s key intelligence agency, which related that Jones had been selling out the Labour Party for years, for money.
Despite this, the old red was given a special honour by Labour ‘for services to the trades union movement!’
This for a man who’d watched Communists crush workers in the streets of Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia, and yet continued to promote the Communist media as his darling.
All this will be familiar to UK readers but others may find it historically interesting, especially Americans, whose main ‘representative’ voice, AARP, has long been manipulated by left-libbery, which is why the new organization, advertised above, was formed.
