I was particularly interested in the background of Mr. Raab, formerly with the British Foreign Office, which was once beautifully summed up by the late, great Enoch Powell as a ”den of traitors and nest of vipers,’ or was it a ‘den of vipers and a nest of traitors?’
Either way, their record of subversion is notorious and it would be interesting to hear from a sometime insider as to the state of play there these days!
