JLo Bares Her Soul in ‘Parker!’

Feeling in need of some cheering up (see previous post) I went to the movies Saturday night, and we arrived at Blok M Plaza just in time for the start of ‘Parker.’

I usually enjoy Jason Statham films, an all-action menu definitely on the cards, and co-starring with Jennifer Lopez, he was bound to entertain.

And (J) lo, we were not disappointed!

It’s basically the tale of a cheated crim’s search for revenge, and of course he, Jason, succceeds in his quest, inexplicably rejecting Jennifer’s advances along the way.

She plays a depressed real estate saleslady, divorced and facing forty, and she almost prevails in her quest to look run-of-the-mill – but not quite!

No need for a blow-by-blow account, just go along and enjoy it. I think it started Friday, so should be on all this week.
