UN Stokes Islamophobia – Ultimatum to Germany – ‘Silence Free Speech!’
And quite right too. I find lots of opinions offensive, but that’s life. If you can’t grow up and either ignore or refute or deride views you don’t like, you should not emerge from your own front door. Or in this case from your own backward lair into a free country.
========A United Nations committee has reprimanded Germany in strong language, saying that the country had violated an international anti-racism convention.======
Racism? If he ‘offended’ Muslims, he’s not a racist, because Muslims are not a race. I had a few beers with a white English Muslim a few nights ago. I’ve seen Chinese Muslims right here in Jakarta. America has lots of black Muslims – they are not a race, so this UN gestapo gang do not have the authority to intrude on the issue.
Tell ’em to get stuffed!

At issue are controversial statements made in 2009 by Thilo Sarrazin, a former finance senator for the city-state of Berlin, about Turks and Arabs, who he said sponged off the state and were incapable of integrating, among other things. But a complaint submitted to public prosecutors in Berlin was rejected on grounds that the comments were permissible under Germany’s freedom of expression law. An appeal to the decision was rejected as well.
Aaah, so now it’s ‘Turks and Arabs.‘ NOT Muslims. There are tons of Christian Arabs (though that number is diminishing as Obama’s MB pals in Cairo get into their genocidal stride) and Turkey too has non-Muslim citizens (though not as many as before the Armenian Genocide)
According to the UN’s Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD), however, this constituted a violation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, because it failed to conduct an “effective investigation” into the matter.
“This is a historic decision,” said the TBB Turkish Union, the cultural organization that submitted the case to the committee, in a statment on Thursday. “CERD has determined that Mr. Sarrazin’s comments touch on a feeling of racist superiority or racial hatred and contain elements of incitement to racial discrimination.”
Turkish Union? Not Germans? If they think they are Turks, there’s a perfectly suitable place for them to move to, where they won’t be so easily ‘offended.’ It’s called Turkey.
So I revise my earlier comment.
Don’t tell ’em to get stuffed – tell ’em to get lost! They have failed to adapt, to adjust, to assimilate, to integrate. They were invited as ‘gast-arbeiter,’ GUEST-workers. They have out-stayed their welcome. They still adhere to a ‘Turkish Union,’ so they are NOT German and don’t belong in Germany.

Ultimatum
CERD also issued an ultimatum to Germany, giving the country 90 days to inform the committee of the measures it will take to address the committee’s opinion. It also recommended that the country “review its policies and procedures in cases of alleged racial discrimination” and widely distribute this information to prosecutors and judicial bodies.
………………..
So what did Sarrazin have to say? If he accurately described this problem, it matters not whom he offended.
He in fact simply stated that these sort of immigrants “constantly produce little girls in headscarves” and were part of an “underclass that does not take part in the normal economic cycle.” He also said that “a large number of Arabs and Turks in (Berlin) … have no productive function other than in the fruit and vegetable trade.”

German readers can confirm the comments on the latter aspect. But as to headscarves? They are the badge of shariah subjugation, utterly sexist, in that no effort is made by any Islamist regime to force men to cover their heads. Sarrazin was only telling the truth. You can walk round parts of Berlin and think you are in some casbah.
And the UN’s arrogant analysis?
…such statements “contain ideas of racial superiority, denying respect as human beings and depicting generalized negative characteristics of the Turkish population, as well as incitement to racial discrimination.”
I figured it’d be fascinating to learn which countries’ representatives serve on this UN dog’s-body. I had a look.
