• Patrialis Akbar, a fanatic who was recorded in an Al Jazeera interview pledging support for local jihadist bigots to be sent to attack Israel, lost a case before the Jakarta State Administrative Court on Monday, but he’s appealing (not to me!) and with full Presidential support, he’s likely to win.

SBY has said and done some strange things during his term of office, but proposing an Islamist extremist like Akbar to sit on the country’s highest constitutional tribunal is certainly one of the strangest.
