Scottish Ass News – Bare Bum at Awards Event, Bare Face at White House!

So Obama, unwilling to affirm the right of the British majority in the Falkland Islands to remain as British as they wish to be, has decided to stick his long nose into the Scottish referendum debate.

No matter that he appears to be arguing the case I too would defend, a United Kingdom.

Obama, legitimately or not,  is Head of State of a foreign country, with NO right to interfere in British internal affairs.

It’s a breach of every diplomatic protocol, bare-faced arrogance, perhaps no surprise from a bare-faced liar!!

More enjoyably, it was pleasing to note that Glasgow is unchanged in its historic indifference to conventional standards of behaviour at formal occasions.

I refer to the awards ceremony in that fine city’s Thistle Hotel last week, when mayhem broke out among hair salon proprietors and representatives, the highlight of which was one somewhat un-genteel lady exposing her backside!

One suspects, in the customary phraseology in Scottish magistrates’ courts, ‘there was drink taken.’

I suppose one could contrive some jest about when Obama’s shadow falls on the land, the end is in sight.

But no need.
