Canada – Bohemian Buggers’ Bank Escalates Gaystapo Aggression!

If you folks back in Canada have an account with the Bank of Montreal, now’s a good time to close it down – if you believe in freedom.

…Canada’s fourth largest bank has begun a process of requiring the businesses with which it works to conform to its pro-homosexual “diversity” standards… it will no longer do business with law firms whose diversity standards are “not compatible” with the bank’s.

These gaystapo banksters plan to widen their assault on decency too.  “The bank is starting with legal suppliers and going from there…”

Their double standards are quite glaring.

Charles McVety, President of the Institute for Canadian Values, is spot on when he says it’s “thinly veiled discrimination against Christians…. 

“They have made it very clear that if you subscribe to Christian values, then they are not going to do business with you. That is discrimination. It violates the protections under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and under the equality provisions of the Charter.”

And the doughty Gwen Landolt, of Real Women of Canada, denounced BOM’s bigotry in forthright terms as the “height of discrimination and intolerance….Their position is shocking and appalling. They have applied political correctness to the absolute borderline of insanity.”

The same report informs us of an unpleasant outfit called Legal Leaders for Diversity (LLD) whose aims include to “create a more inclusive profession for LGBT lawyers and staff.”

Hypocritically, BOM also wants to hinder access to the legal profession for Christians. It has sought to deny accreditation of Trinity Western University’s legal program since the bank viewed the university’s Community Covenant — which requires students to abstain from “sexual intimacy that violates the sacredness of marriage between a man and woman” — as discriminatory against homosexuals.

 

For literally discriminating shoppers, it’s useful to know that numerous other LLD trans-national corporations active in Canada include – Target, BP, Ford, Xerox, Bell, RBC, UPS, The Home Depot, Coco Cola, JohnSon, Chevron, HP, Dell, Kellogg’s OLG, Shell, TD, and Nissan.
