X-Rated Xmas – Foul-Mouths Bully Christians, As ‘Moderate’ Mayor Denies They Exist!’
Well, we have had a nice day, fine Christmas fare followed, after a few hours rest and recuperation, by a walk down to the nearest Bali beach.
But the same cannot be said of the persecuted Protestants in Bogor, West Java.
- There a mealy- mouthed so-called ‘moderate’ Muslim Mayor, Bima, has come out with the same sort of weasel words his openly jihadist predecessor once mouthed at the Christian congregation illegally denied access to their church.
- In fact His Honour – how suitable is that description for somebody like Bima? – goes so far as to deny their very existence.
Seriously! “…there is no such thing as the GKI Yasmin congregation.”
Oh, really, Your Caliphine Majesty?
Then who are these people in the photos?
- They are GKI Yasmin worshippers, and I can vouch for their existence personally, having joined some of the services they’ve held outside the Presidential Palace in protest against Islamist oppression.
Bima’s kind of puking obscurantism makes me want to vomit up my lovely lunch, all the more so when he adds that it’s not an issue of ‘violation of religious liberty.’ http://thejakartaglobe.beritasatu.com/news/bogor-mayor-bima-says-gki-yasmin-church-recognized-christian-authority/
It is, of course, but in fact it’s much more than that.
It’s an issue of whether Indonesia is a constitutional democracy, in which pusillanimous pip-squeaks like everyone else are obliged to comply with rulings of both the Supreme Court and the National Ombudsman.
Bima clearly reckons he is not so obliged.
If he were in any sense pluralist, as he used to claim, he’d be down there unsealing the house of worship and wishing the congregants a Merry Christmas – as my Muslim friends and all decent Muslims here are very happy to do.
His inaction shames Indonesia before the world.
PS -Sorry, not only his inaction, but the action of his goon-squad, his civic militia, the notorious SatPol PP, who according to a Tempo report, turned up at the church site and set about bullying the Christians, hand-in-glove with louts from sectarian thug-gangs.
Yasmin spokesman Bona Singgalinging told the media – “We were pushed, cursed with foul language, and threatened,” he said.http://www.tempo.co/read/news/2014/12/25/214630883/Natal-Jemaat-GKI-Yasmin-Diganggu-Satpol-PP
