This kind of twisted thinking.,.if it really is what she thinks…
——————
....some of these psychotic divorcees simply latch onto any stick they can to torment the man whose children they share…
– is an uncanny echo of the totalitarianism we have read about in Stalin’s Russia and Hitler’s Germany, whereby kids got confiscated by the state if their parents were not politically correct. Other children were encouraged, indoctrinated or just plain bullied into turning on their parents.
She’s simply a bad mother!
And yes, there may be fathers as bad, but given the sexism of the UK courts, and I know it’s International Women’s Day, but let’s be honest…
–

–
…mothers invariably get custody unless they’re junkies or jail-birds, so the number of men who might be in this dreadful women’s position of power to torment ex-spouses is tiny.
–

Note, it wasn’t the act of leafletting per se, but the bias she harbours against the People’s Party.
This nasty vixen seriously expected she’d get the law to declare her prejudice trumps the children’s right to share their father’s public spirited community involvement?
It’s reassuring that the judge slapped down the demented bint.
But less so when we read on-
…he overturned the ban imposed during a custody battle at a family court, saying the order was ‘invasive’ of the ‘rights of the father..’ GOOD…but then we read that there will be a full hearing later.
So she’s likely to get another bite at the cherry?
I hope it chokes her!
For a start, speaking from personal experience, both as a child (of my own volition – my parents weren’t notably political) and as a candidate/parent, children enjoy door-to-door leafletting.
If you keep a careful eye on them, it’s not a risky way to spend an arvo – fresh air, exercise, and their need for a regular break means you, the canvasser, will take one too.
A brief respite from the rounds is wise – you can review your chat-style, rest your throat muscles, and have a laugh over the more entertaining doors already knocked.

More importantly, what sort of guff was SHE trying to inject into their young minds? She claims she’s not a member of any party, but surely that –
A either confirms she’s just being a bitch to her ex
B or else she’s a non-card-carrying lackey of some pinko fringe gang -they’re the sort that tend to trot out trash about ‘racism’ and ‘homophobia.’
–

.
..in court documents, the mother feared her ex-husband’s political views were ‘influencing the children,, saying the older child in particular ‘can be racist and homophobic’.
One does not automatically grow up as a clone of one’s mum or dad. Certainly not in political thinking.
But it is not only the right but surely the duty of a caring parent to influence their young towards values the parent regards as good – in this man’s case, evidently patriotism and traditional decencies. To espouse such ideas in modern Britain is sadly likely to incur charges of ‘racism’ and/or ‘homophobia.’
