Actually, Greece for many years did a pretty good job on crimmigration. We more than once praised the efforts of patriotic Greek ministers and their security forces who, with limited resources, showed far more sense than many other countries.

But all they heard from Berlin, and Brussels, was carping and caterwauling about the poor bloody crimmigrants’ “rights!”

Schaeuble himself admitted as much in the same outburst reported above.

He recalled that German courts decided that refugees were being treated inhumanely in Greece, therefore it is not possible to send asylum seekers back there.

Schaeuble presumably has a house, probably a big posh house, and I doubt, if he discovers vermin have invaded his kitchen, he leaves out delicious cheeses for any curious rats and mice who manage to gain access to his premises.

The latest Brussels manoeuvre is a blatant power-grab.

Even Spain got it in the neck from the EUSSR’s apparatchiks when their border police put up sensible resistance.

The EU Commissioner for Home Affairs, Cecilia Malmstrom, said she was “very concerned” about Spanish police firing rubber bullets to deter migrants.  She added that the actions of any EU state protecting its borders should be “proportionate”, and should respect fundamental rights and human dignity.
