‘The Aachen Memorandum?’ Could Brussels Rig UK Referendum?
Some of you may have read that brilliant little paperback ‘The Aachen Memorandum,’ a tale of treachery and subversion, about an evil conspiracy by Brussels to rig a Brexit referendum.

The author, Andrew Roberts, may have been prescient, albeit his book was published as a work of fiction, because last night I watched that old media war-horse, Tim Sebastian, interview Liar Juncker’s EUSSR Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis, and Tim, on Deutsche Welle, did a great job.
Sebastian’s no rightwinger – that was obvious when he inexplicably asked the young Valdis ( who honestly does have the look of a scolded school-boy!) if he felt ‘ashamed’ when ‘refugees’ were tear-gassed on European frontiers.
What’s to feel ashamed about – except that European media continue to refer to a rabble that won’t even consent to finger-printing for ID purposes as ‘refugees?’
No rightwinger then, Sebastian, but a serious interviewer. Again and again, he demanded Dombrovskis answer one simple question.
—————————
Do you have a contingency plan for the UK leaving the EU?
Sebastian kept pointing out that it would be the height of irresponsibility on the part of Brussels NOT to have any plan to deal with the eventuality of a major economy like the UK breaking away.
But the EuroCommissar refused point-blank to give a straight answer.
Again and again. Then finally, he came clean. Brussels only has a Plan A – keeping Britain IN.

NO PLAN B for a Brexit? This is incomprehensible, irresponsible, verging on insane.
Even in our most trivial day-to-day business dealings we always make some sort of contingency plan. If I want a new shirt, I’ll have a look in Matahari department store (not least because the staff are so pretty!) but when I set out on my shopping trip, I’ll always have alternative shirt-sources in mind, maybe the cheap little vendors in Thamrin City mall.
So unless the grandees of the EUSSR have brains the size of snails, they’d have drawn up contingency plans for their political and economic strategies in the event of a Brexit vote.
UNLESS..
There is a modern real-life version of The Aachen Memorandum.
Unless the EurocRats are absolutely confident in a YES win already, nearly four months before Brits cast their votes.
Far out conspiracy theory?

Juncker, who ‘often had to lie because economic policy was too important toi be discussed in public… ‘ He apparently prefers ‘deep and dark debates,’ https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2011/07/17/eussr-ministers-desperate-to-shut-out-citizens-a-tradition-of-lies-and-deceit/
oooooooooooooooooooooo
Maybe?
But remember how Jean-Claude Juncker explained his interpretation of the arts of democracy? Dishonesty? No problem!
Juncker and his comrades loathe referenda, which they view as a hindrance in their drive towards supranational control. They have a gut hostility to popular sovereignty
So I’d not be in the least surprised if they have no scruples whatsoever about interfering in the British referendum result. To me, there’s no question that a lot of Brussels apparatchiks would engage in ballot rigging to achieve their evil objectives.
The only question Brits need to ask is COULD this happen.
I’m thousands of miles away in Jakarta – over to you in The Old Country, who are still there to keep the home fires burning!

I agree this might very well happen. I read that book a long time ago and even then it made me think.
If I am not wrong, you have made known that Cameron has already skewed the result giving hundreds of thousand of foreigners a vote in our referendum.
All the people from the Irish Republic? Naturally they will listen to their own government which wants to keep us part of the European Union, but because they have taken up residence in the UK, Cameron lets them vote.
At the same time, he is refusing to let hundreds of thousands of British people who have been living outside the UK for fifteen years or more have a vote in the future of our country. And this is despite his own party’s promise to restore overseas British citizens their right to vote here. Some of us have been abroad for a long time but it does not make us cease to be what we were born.
Like Juncker, Cameron is a liar and I wouldn’t put it past either of them to fiddle the result.
