Corbyn's "One of Ours," Say Argies!
A friend to every country but his own, words that apply to most liberals, and this week certainly to Jeremy Corbyn, of whom the Argentine Ambassador says –
——
two of a kind…

“He is one of ours!”

And Senora Castro has good reason to be delighted, for Comrade Corbyn has forsworn the pledge of self-determination which every British party leader has endorsed, since the Falklands Liberation War ended in 1982.
- “He is saying that dialogue [is] possible and that attitudes are beginning to change, that what was achieved in Northern Ireland can be achieved also here!”
There are, so far as I know, no Argies living on those British islands in the South Atlantic, so what was achieved in Northern Ireland, power-sharing between decent Brits and a substantial treasonous minority, would be hard to effect.

- What Corbyn and Castro seem to be talking about is a revival of the appeasement scheme promoted by the late Foreign Office fop, Francis Pym, handing partial control of UK sovereign territory to an alien and aggressive foreign country, under the auspices of the United Nations.

- Maggie slapped down that oily little man back then, and it’s nice that even Labour’s foreign affairs spokesman did the same to Comrade Creepy.

- But I’ll bet he carries on, nailing his craven colours to the mast of that laughable hypocrisy, the UN Decolonisation Committee, or whatever it’s calling itself these days…a band of curs who show NO interest in self-determination where it’s sorely needed, as in Tibet…

…but ever-eager to force our kith and kin under the Argentine flag.
