Stupid Scots Actor’s Apology for Anglophobic Rant


After the British freedom referendum, many leftists began a-shrilling about a ‘spike’ in racist abuse incidents.
One assumes they included the fact that somebody named Alan Cumming engaged in a mindless racist outburst, viz.
– “I was appalled when I heard the result. And I have three words to sum it up. Stupid. English. People.”
———As we might deduce from his odd choice of Twitter photo, Cummings is apparently an actor, a rich expat who sloped off to the USA some years ago and has a dead posh dwelling there till this very day.

So whatever befalls the Scots post-Brexit, it won’t befall him.

However, he’s now apologised.

Not that anyone really cares.

Had he said the same thing about so-called ‘refugees,’ or the various protected species whom everyone rushes about being desperate not to offend with bacon butties in school lunches or Porky Pig cartoons in kindergarten….

‘We have a new menu for school dinners starting on April 20, 2015.  ‘Please be assured there is no pork on the menu and the sausages served are halal chicken.’   On a Fishy Note – Where’s the Bacon, Miss? UK Stealth Halal? 

…no mere apology would have sufficed.

Even ‘Irish jokes’ – my old fave about why Jesus wasn’t born in Ireland ( God’s inability to find either three wise men or a virgin!) might risk prosecution.

Humour these days, like free speech etc., is often curtailed by PC censorship.
So in the end, one must nod agreement when Cumming retorts – “I guess I’m just a daft jock who assumes people still find humour amusing.”No, he’s a daft jock who should realise that centuries of achievement together, building the greatest empire the world has ever known, have bonded the destinies of Scots, English, Welsh and Ulsterfolk…
