We have all too often brought the barbarism of Aceh to your notice. Cowardly masked brutes whipping little girls ( guiltless of anything that might offend normal people) before a salivating throng of nasty bigots.

Sadly, it’s not just in Indonesia’s only shariah-ruled province that such foul spectacles are regarded as acceptable.  

We’ve mentioned before how the state-sponsored MUI, the council of so-called ‘scholars,’ adheres to similarly primitive thinking.

You might think some ‘Islamophobe’ nut-job had made up this stuff!

But, no, ISMA’s Aminuddin Yahaya is deadly serious, all worked up because more than 150,000 illegitimate kids were born in Malaysia between 2013 and 2015, and he, asserts, most of them were born to “Malay-Muslim women.“

Mind you, despite his anguish he can still do math.

“If we take this and we do it exponentially, it means 10 years from now, we will have not less than 500,000 illegitimate children!” 

Aminuddin imputes an immense level of immorality to his co-religionists, telling us that, of those active in ‘vice areas,’ 80 per cent are the young generation, Malay Muslims, because they are not afraid.

So making these wayward wenches afraid is what’s required?

He reckons so, and he reckons that current shariah options are inadequate to instil sufficient terror into young girls’ hearts.

The fanatic party, PAS, is this month trying to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965, to remove the limits Aminuddin deplores.

And the report reminds us that two years ago in Kelantan State, plans were announced to empower the Shariah courts to try Muslims for serious crimes ― such as premarital sex punishable by 100 lashes and adultery punishable by death.

Oh, and don’t forget amputations!
