Potsdamer Platz Polluted By Pinkos – Get Real, Gere!
Back in the bad old days in Berlin, when a large chunk of the city was under the heel of the DDR quisling regime, Potsdamer Platz was a sad, sorry place, a once-splendid square divided between freedom and communism.
Those in the East who sought that freedom were often murdered by the Communist brutes paid to pen them in.
Young Peter Fechter, below, was one such victim.

===========
Much of it was a wasteland, which one could view from a wooden platform erected on the Western side.
I once stood there myself, in the mid-1960s, looking across at the bleak vista.

Potsdamer Platz, 1963
oooooooooooo
After reunification, it came to life again, a symbol. almost, of the triumph of liberty over the lies of marxism.
But last night I tuned into Deutsche Welle, when there it was again, the same old self-serving propaganda of the Left, malignant and mendacious.
=================
The occasion this weekend is something called the Berlinale, a film festival, inevitably attracting a pack of pinko ‘celebrities,’ including Americans eager to snipe at their own homeland.
Unaware, probably, of the irony that the East German puppet government had once used the same vicinity to blatt out anti-American propaganda, an increasingly senescent Richard Gere has been spewing out his hate – he ranted last night that he wouldn’t even sit down to dinner with Donald Trump!
Lucky old Donald!
Gere’s sanctimonious animosity metamorphosed into a deranged description of Mama Stasi Merkel’s Germany as a ‘role model’ for its willingness to take in displaced people when other nations would not.
===========================
- The fool either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that the former Stasi flunkey’s open-door policy has unleashed a series of atrocities.
- Murder, rape, molestation…
=======
“They were all asylum seekers!” Told You So!
… something akin to a reign of terror has been inflicted by too many of Mama’s cherished ingrates on their German hosts.
If displaced persons was indeed the phrase he used, Gere’s guilty of gross misrepresentation.
Genuinely ‘displaced persons,’ or ‘refugees,‘ seek shelter in the nearest safe country, rather than…
===========
- …stomping all the way across one safe country after another to get their snouts into the yummiest welfare trough their NGO abettors have identified for them.

But Gere should be known by the company he keeps!

—————–
- The 67-year-old Hollywood star and political activist made his remarks after talks with Claudia Roth.
- Who the Hell is she?
..a leading member of the Greens…

Aaah, yes, the Greens.
The Far-Left fanatics who are stentorian on behalf of crimmigrants but cower away from facing critics in honest debate.
Debate With AfD Patriots? Red/Green Comrades Bottle Out!
Mind you, the Greens have good reason to evade encounters with those who might remind them of their sordid record.

But back to the Berlinale, where some other pinko creep decided to echo Nancy ‘Face-Lift Check’ Pelosi, suggesting the President was insane..
–Nancy Pelosi Suggests Donald Trump Get His Mental Health Checked..
…again unaware of the irony of such words in a country ruled by Mama Stasi!

Although many more than I believe it’s not mental instability but something much more sinister that motivated Merkel to betray her country.
Did Kim Philby Advise Merkel On Treason Skills?
What’s really insane is the way this film-fest, like the recent SAG dolt-fest…
Screen Actors Guild – The Talking Brain-Dead?
…and no doubt the current Oscars, get turned into a far-left forum!
It’s planned, orchestrated, by the Enemy Within, as they openly show us –Three simple, effective ways to stand up to Trump at the Oscars
We should all stop going to their cr-ppy movies (which, after all, line their treacherous pockets) until they cease subversive shilling for crimmigrants!

I went to Berlin in the sixties too, Ross. I liked the place, but I felt sorry for the Germans on the other side of the line.
Now I still feel sorry for all the Germans with all those horrible so-called displaced persons.
We had DPs come to Australia too but they were real refugees and they were never ungrateful or violent to us the way those animals are to the Germans.
if they were honestly in fear of their lives, you are right, they would be happy to get out of their own countries into any safe place. All this lot want are free stuff and women to grab at.
Country shoppers is what they are.
