Achtung! Merkel Declares War On Turkish Democracy!
The naked contempt for democracy embedded in Mama Stasi’s regime has rarely been so glaring as this week.
==
=
Merkel has been harping for months on how Turks should not be deprived of their democratic rights. Merkel urges Turkish people to uphold democracy –
As has the Brussels Empire!
But she’s now dropped the mask and made it clear that she won’t have Turkish – or indeed German – people taking decisions for themselves on any issue not approved by the EUSSR.

Her arrogant coalition minion, Michael Roth, Minister of State for Europe, told the Bundestag that the federal government had not yet received an application by the Turkish embassy to hold a referendum on the death penalty.
=
=
“Regardless of this, the federal government will not support any initiative to introduce the death penalty,” Roth said.
And any notion that the ‘conservative’ wing of Mama Stasi’s party, the Christian Social Union was any more serious about democracy than Merkel’s CDU were finally put to rest when CDU Secretary General Andreas Scheuer grautitously chipped in with further disrespect for the democratic process – ‘allowing such a referendum on the death penalty would be against German law.’
====
======
“No referendum can be given on German soil that would lead to the introduction of the death penalty,” Scheuer said.
“That is what our constitutional law and common sense dictates.”
True, there’s an odd line in the German constitution, outlawing capital punishment, but that constitution, as we’ve noted before…How Dare German Patriots Offer The People Democracy!…was NEVER put before the German people for their approval or otherwise.

In fact, just last year, we noted that the German State of Hessen, the death penalty was on the statute book and presumably still is. …the various parties could not agree on the proposed changes. The death penalty remained. To finalize the reform, Hesse will have to put forth a referendum to the people. In Germany, A Rare Chance for People Power!
==========
Will these Merkel minions leap in and stomp Hessen’s democratic process too?
As for common sense, what an arrogant prig this Scheuer is, to impose his own prejudice on his fellow-citizens without rational argument, instead suggesting he must be self-evidently correct.
Another member of Mama’s brood, one Gunther Kirchbaum, has escalated the row. While he grudgingly that that German cops would not be able to use force to infiltrate Turkish embassies to prevent voting…
=
——-
…he blustered bumptiously that “we should do everything possible to make it more difficult.” and sought to enlist the Euro-Commissars in Merkel’s jihad against democracy, urging coordinated European action to not allow voting.
Why?
“This inhumane form of punishment contradicts the essential fundamental rights of the EU.” https://www.thelocal.de/20170428/govt-could-block-turks-from-voting-in-germany-on-death-penalty
Dummkopf!
It’s not the supranational state that has rights but the people, and the peoples, of Europe, inside or outside the ‘EU,’ that as rights, not least the right to be safe from predators.
-
And in any territory with pretensions to democratic principles, the essential, fundamental right to decide what should befall evil-doers who menace their safety.
-
What kind of hypocritical message are these condescending German elitists sending to decent democratic Turks?
-
‘Sure, resist Erdogan’s Islamist autocracy! But don’t dare think you have the right to make your own decisions on matters of life or death?’

Do not expect Merkel to understand democratic principles. In her opinion the people are only permitted to vote in the predetermined agenda.
She is ex-Stasi, as you know.

Who does Germany belong to? The Germans or the Commissioners in Brussels? Or does Merkel now see the future in terms only of The Thoughts of Chairman Mama?
These elitists must be overthrown in the election this year and democracy restored with the right of Germans to not only respect other countries referendums but also to have referendums of their own, like that one they never got on that anti-death-penalty clause in their own constitution.
