What audacity, for a German politician to be heard calling for a “German dominant culture,” or “leitkultur.”

Next we’ll be hearing Chinese politicians making brazen demands for China to have a Chinese dominant culture, or some outrageous call in Egypt for an Egyptian dominant culture.

Then some Nepalese will get the arrogant notion that the idea of a Nepalese dominant culture is worthy of consideration!

Such monstrous violations of the multicult ideology will, as in Germany this month, surely provoke fierce criticism!

It’s only in the historic nations of Christendom that uppity exhortations to preserve national identity could possibly provoke rabid rants from lawmakers across the political spectrum.

What actually does reflect audacity is the the identity of the man whose words are being condemned .

I spend most of my days going to and fro around the capital of the world’s largest Muslim majority nation. I rarely see a burqa in Jakarta, and then it’s almost always shrouding the head of some wretched Arab’s spouse!

Only primitives wear burqas!

Or at least, the wives of primitives, whom really we should pity, subjugated thus at the whim of their bigot husbands.

True, these sad creatures, if asked, will blame their sexist subordination on their ‘religion.’
