Morrissey Talks Sense? Now That IS News!
A simple question to start. What did you to in response to the news from Manchester?
Like all of you, presumably, outrage, and then a need to say my piece, but I had to go out and I was so beside myself that my potatoes were left a-boiling!
Luckily, I realised before boarding the bus and came back. Otherwise my house might have been toast on my return.
That evening, the plan was to meet up with friends, a mixed bunch, foreigners, Indonesians, just out to have fun.
What sense would it have made to skip it? Islamists are of course abominable, in just about every way, but their hall-mark is their war on fun, silence the music, shut down song and dance.
Just as I did after the Sarinah terror attack here in Jakarta, I felt it almost a duty to hit the town, to spite the swine!
Same logic applies to HM The Queen, who condemned the jihadist atrocity then went ahead with her garden party yesterday, for which Morrissey scolded her – as if she or I or anyone gives a monkey’s what Morrissey thinks!
But there’s more.
I never thought the day would dawn when I would give Morrissey a nod of approval.
In most ways, he is, to be frank, a deplorable person.

There has been an outbreak of buffoonery, boosted by the BBC, one talking head after another saying how ‘diversity’ must go on, ‘respect’ and ‘tolerance’ are the keys, and we must respond to hate with love.

NO ‘tolerance’ for the proponents of shariah sexism.
NO ‘respect’ for evil clerics who preach that ‘blasphemers,’ or ‘apostates’ and even poor old boring adulterers, deserve to be murdered, by the state or, if not, by sectarian vigilantes.
NO ‘love’ for brutes like that. HATE is the appropriate response.
Surely all decent people, including decent Muslims, have a duty to hate the Islamist ideology, despise their mean-spirited antics, and hope and pray for their universal obliteration.
Apart from the natural abhorrence that Islamist tripe provokes in any normal person, decent Muslims have additional grounds for loathing it, namely…

So let’s hope that the British Government gets a grip on the situation. May won’t take the obvious steps in that direction. She won’t make the death penalty part of her manifesto.
But wait and see. She’s called a halt to electioneering. Perhaps during this ill-considered hiatus, as polling figures tighten, she will listen to wiser heads.

The Islamist make us shamed by using Islam in their war. when we do not hate you foreign country but we hate them for what they do.
