Finsbury Park – Terror Is Always Wrong!
Having condemned acts of terror in the UK before, we must do so again today.
I know the area of the attack quite well. We used to live in Finsbury Park – not that bad a place to live, except that the terrorist sympathiser Jeremy Corbyn was our local MP!

But let’s get down to basics,
Driving a vehicle at people you don’t know, just because they are, or you think they are, of one religion or another, is monstrous.
Only last night I was in downtown Jakarta, partying with friends who included Muslims, in whose cheerful company I delighted.
===
=
The thought that people might wish to harm any of them because of the religion specified on their ID cards is abhorrent.
The response of Muslims in London should be to await the outcome of the investigation, then, regardless of that outcome, to organise a march condemning all violence and threats of violence in the name of religion.
They should not prattle about ‘Islamophobia…’

Jakarta sectarian hate-gang
…..
…and by other manifestations, around the world, including here in Jakarta, of murderous Islamist intolerance.
What should be done is to make it clear that jihadists, (and salafists, wahabbists and the sort of sectarian fanatics who sympathise with the ISIS rape-gang) are excluded from any role in the arrangement of the protest march.
That should be the prerogative of the many decent Muslims who accept British democracy and are loyal to Queen and Country.
By that simple logic, Islamists should not be allowed to join the march.
That proscription should encompass the sort of savages who have called for the killing of ‘apostates’ and ‘blasphemers.’

I have just been listening to BBC too and heard two young Muslims showing exactly the wrong reactions, moaning about the response times of the police and ambulances, such a chip on their shoulder .
They I hope are not typical but this mentality is not acceptable, they think that they are so put upon, when the reality is that far more British people have suffered from Islamic terror. It’s sad that somebody died last night but the kind of Muslims I just heard do not seem to interested in anything except their grievances.
I think your idea is good but I dont think there will be any such march, more like there will be a jihadist parade screeching ‘Islamophobia..’

Do you really think there’s any chance of that?
You aren’t naive as a rule, Ross, but I cannot for the life of me imagine more than a handful of them marching along demanding ‘hands off apostates’ or even ‘freedom of religion..’
So many times we see them marching in London about whatever misfortunes Muslims in other countries have to go through. It’s a very selfish attitude but if they worry about injustice overseas, it would have been good even once to see them marching against ISIS, or you are always telling us about how those Ahmadi people are persecuted in Indonesia. It’s worse in Pakistan, but I have never seen a march of Muslims in England against the way Ahmadi are so badly treated by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
What I make of that is that they either do not care, or maybe they even approve of religious intolerance.
.
Some Muslims, like the ones you mix with in Indonesia, obviously, do believe in tolerance but there are very few who would go out to demonstrate that in the United Kingdom.

Ross, I do enjoy your blog and that’s because you talk sense and also you have an ability to make me smile too with your tongue in cheek humour..
But do you seriously expect anything like that to happen?
You must be joking.
What’s already happening is a renewed campaign to stamp out criticism of Islam. The BBC is of course leading the charge.
They have been showing us leftwing activists saying that rising ‘Islamophobia’ is what has to be fought. and linking the incident to Brexit, and the War on Terror and to 9’/11, believe it or not.
Those were the events singled out by some black man in Finsbury Park named Germaine ( I thought that was a girl’s name) who was on very chummy first name terms with his BBC interviewer.
They also had the husband of the murdered Labour MP Jo Cox on for a long extreme leftwing rant against Donald Trump and Marie Le Pen.
Germaine thinks we have not been even-handed because we have only been talking about Islamist ‘preachers of hate.’
I interpret that as meaning he wants to even-handedly silence people who point out the injustice of shariah law and the very well-known demands by Islamic authorities for ‘execution’ of the apostates and blasphemers you refer to.
This is a campaign that needs to be nipped in the bud if it is not to result in censorship of the truths that you and other free media keep telling.

No offence, mate but if you honestly think that any serious number of Muslims will march for religious freedom for anybody but themselves, you’ve lost it.
I like your blog, shows true Brit feelings and all that, but you must have gone soft when you published this about the Muslim march you want to see.
You should be over here seeing them rant on tv, all day long, about how they are the victims, not even any little hint that one little incident dont compare with all the terror and murder inflicted on the rest of the country by Islamix over the past ten years.

Percy, Ross hasn’t lost it at all.
If you read what he says there’s no doubt at all that he is offering an opportunity for Muslims in the UK to show that they are ready to divorce themselves from the backward tendency that too many have shown, that offensive habit of putting the interests of foreign Muslims above our British interests.
I hope enough of them come out in public and demonstrate in the way Ross would like to see.
Naturally the BBC will give noisy and hostile people like those that anger you and Pamela. That Cox is Labour and so is Jermaine (not Germaine)Jackman. He is a well-known fan of Corbyn and has said he wants to be a Labour MP. . The BBC would always give those people as much time as they want to score political points. We need to warn people against BBC bias.
Silent majorities exist in many communities, and it took a long time for our majority to assert itself, as it did a year ago in the referendum.
Give the Muslims the opportunity to do so and we all might get a pleasant surprise. Many of them, like some from Iran whom I know personally, came here to Britain to find freedom from horrible sharian societies.
They are our natural allies. .

Ross has not gone soft on Islamic terror issues and I’m sure he never will, Percy.
In my humble American opinion, he’s getting his message across quite subtly, because it puts the ball in the court of those he’s inviting to show whose side they are really on, their own sectarian side, or Britain’s!.

Where I live its like a broken record, them always playing the islamophobia card.
Ross, you ought to know better than expect better than they have done so far.

Our goverment in Australia tried appeasement route and a lot of good its done us.
When Abbott dropped his plan to give us back free speech. It was an open secret the goverment was crawling, because it thought by keeping them protected from criticism it would get them to be on our side
Abbott was a fool, and I think he knows it now.
Malcolm Turnbull has been worse with all his smarming around that grand mufti, and God knows how many more terrorist arrests it will take for them to wake the goverment up..

You can all take a break from discussing this because J K Rowling has told us what to do, find out how the driver was ‘radicalised.’
Her tweet is making headlines would you believe.
Since when does an author of children’s fiction become an authority on terrorism or anything except children’s fiction.
Some of these celebrities see themselves as all-knowing. They are the sort of know-alls we all hope not to sit beside on trains and planes. The media who give them all their publicity are also at fault for encouraging them to think their thoughts matter to anyone else.
