The report goes on to say that the Russians will appeal against this sleazy Strasbourg diktat, but surely they’d be better just to tell the sticky-beaks to shove it.
Let’s be clear – the law is little different from the excellent Clause 28 which was on the UK statute book from Mrs’ Thatcher’s time until a pro-queer majority of parliamentarians repealed it under Bliar.
The Russian law does not affect the ‘right’ of adult homos to bugger each other as often as they please…
…, but simply protects children from proselytising in schools and other places where aberrants might think to recruit youngsters to their squalid life-style.
But those foul clowns on the ECHR don’t even pay much heed to the youth protection aspect…

It was always that we had to be suspicious of Russia, in the Cold War.
Now we look to Russia as a last repository of the values we were raised to respect.
How very strange this world has become.
