“Mohon Ma’af?” Blasphemous Brutes Vandalise Depok Mosque!
‘Mohon ma’af, ‘ is a common addition to Idul Fitri greetings here, people asking forgiveness for any wrongs they’ve done in the past year.
I wonder if certain blasphemous bigots in Depok will walk over to the Ahmadi Mosque they vandalised this weekend….
The vandals, who used motorcycles, threw eggs and paint at the mosque’s yard and front and back gates. “They also threw eggs at the mosque’s CCTV cameras so their actions would not be recorded,” Fatiatulo Lazira, a lawyer with the team, said. They also placed a banner expressing animosity toward Ahmadiyah near the mosque.
….and seek forgiveness.
I doubt it. Islamist bigots have no conscience recognisable to normal human beings.
I recall that evil mass-murderer, Imam Samoedra, one of the Bali Bomb Pigs..

…being asked by a naive journo prior to his well-deserved execution, if he would be asking forgiveness.
‘Why would I ask forgiveness from kafir,’ was the monster’s retort.
So no repentance likely among the backward beasts in Depok either, where the vandalised Ahmadi mosque had already been shut down by the sectarian local government’s goon-squad.

The mosque has been sealed off by the Depok administration seven times, with the most recent occurring on June 4.
Nor is there any news from President Jokowi, who likes to talk about Indonesia’s pluralism, about any plan to repeal the notorious Tri-Ministerial Decree.
The Ahmadis have long been persecuted in the country, with the government issuing a joint ministerial decree banning their activities in 2008.http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2017/06/24/ahmadiyah-mosque-in-depok-vandalized-ahead-of-idul-fitri.html
At least the JP report has a few words on the source of much of Indonesia’s intolerance, reminding us that it was the MUI’s dogmatic decree…

The 2005 Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) fatwa declaring the teachings of Ahmadiyah heretical
…which bigot bureaucrats have used to shut down religious liberty in dismal Depok – more than once!
I do suspect, however, that ‘heretical’ – and utterly inoffensive and peaceful – Ahmadis today are saying ‘mohon ma’af’ for any little mistakes they have made, over the past 12 months, in good conscience, knowing that they have done nothing wrong in wishing to worship God Almighty in their own honourable way.

The MUI must ‘seek forgiveness,’ just like you say.
Depok kampung criminals who attack the mosque are stupid with no education but MUI are older and not stupid only mean and full with intolerance. So many mean things happen after the MUI fatwa.
Why will President Jokowi not protect Ahmadiyya people.
The Ahmadi do no harm.

And I agree with you Kezia, the MUI always make me feel like why do they shame our country.
We since 1945 like to have freedom for all religion.groups.
MUI do not.
Eventhough I am Muslim
