Their Religion? No Excuse – Blackmores Are B-st-rds!
Still covering Canadian news, and in particular to look at the courts, always a worthwhile and enjoyable activity, via an opinion piece in the National Post, by Daphne Bramham
Gail and Brandon Blackmore have been convicted of removing their daughter from Canada for sexual purposes — a never-before-used section of the Criminal Code that carries a maximum penalty of five years.
The Blackmores are part of a pig-ignorant religion which practises polygamy and child-marriage.
It’s called the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Despite sounding similar to the formal name of the Mormon Church, whose members I often see bravely proselytising around Jakarta, easily recognisable by their neat apparel and courteous demeanour, the FCJCLDS is NOT AT ALL the same.
It’s a bizarre sect run by a very odd individual called Jeffs, whom his acolytes refer to as a ‘prophet.’
======
Jeffs was convicted in 2011 of “sexual assault” and “aggravated sexual assault” of two girls ages 12 and 15. He was sentenced to life in prison plus 20 years.

And the two loathesome specimens in the photo below? Gail and Brandon Blackmore
ooooooo.
The Blackmores, who gave their daughter to their ‘prophet.’

Yet despite being convicted in a Canadian court, and even though Blackmore isn’t exactly remorseful….

…the defence attorney argued for a conditional sentence (which would mean no criminal record) and no jail time.
WHAT?
????

And for the foul fanatic mother of the victim, Gail Blackmore, it was argued that the media coverage of the trial was punishment enough and a big enough signal to deter others.
I am horrified, and not only by those absurd arguments from their defenders.
The PROSECUTION has only asked for Brandon Blackmore to get 12-18 months in jail.
And for the evil woman, six months to a year in jail.
British Columbia’s Supreme Court will deliver the decision next month.
In the absence of burning at the stake as a potential penalty, the five year maximum available is the least justice demands, although it’s clearly insufficient punishment for parents who thus betrayed their child.
So we wait for Canadian justice.
In contrast, we know that there is NO justice in Australia, or at least not in the court of Magistrate Phillip Goldberg…

…who sentenced Omerdic to two months’ prison for his “serious breach of trust” but released him immediately on a two-year recognisance release order.
And who is Omerdic?
He’s the vile savage pictured below.
oooooooooooo
———–
Once an imam of the Bosnian Islamic Society and Noble Park Mosque, he was suspended after being arrested last November for deliberate complicity in the ‘marriage’ of a child to an adult male predator.
Video footage of the ceremony was previously played to the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court, showing Omerdic telling the girl it was her duty to obey her husband.
Victorian ex-imam avoids jail over child bride marriage ceremony
Dirty old slug!
Good on Ms Krista Breckweg, prosecuting, who, noting absence of any sign of remorse, urged that the pig ought to be jailed in order to deter child weddings in future.
“This offending involved a man marrying a child to an older man, knowingly,” Ms Breckweg told the court.
“There needs to be a message sent to the community that this will not be tolerated. You can’t do this.”
But…
Defence lawyer Daniel Gurvich QC said Omerdic had already been suspended as an imam and a Justice of the Peace, and should not be punished further with jail.
Somehow, Gurvich reckoned it was not a pre-meditated criminal offence..”

Like, uh, how do you preside over an unpremeditated ‘marriage’ ceremony?
You had no idea what was about to happen, you were just walking by and saw some people about to coerce a young girl into a pedophile arrangement…

They are unfit to be parents and should go to jail.
I would say using religion as their excuse makes it all the more wicked. That cult needs to be clamped down and and prevented from any more things like this happening.
Doing evil to kids is not a case for time-served and walk away so yes, years and years for the Blackmores and for that imam in Australia.
