It’s Remembrance Sunday again, this coming weekend, a very special day.

But what about this?

The headline asks a question…

Why doesn’t James McClean wear a poppy on Remembrance weekend?

But the REAL questions should be asked of the West Bromwich Albion Football Club which employs the disloyal swine named James McLean…

…who has refused to wear the traditional Remembrance Day poppy on his shirt each and every year since first moving to England to join Sunderland in 2011.

Last weekend I gather he turned out for WBA in their fixture with Manchester City and once more shamed his side by abhorring the poppy…

For the past five years each and every Premier League club has worn poppies sewn into specially made shirts during the month of November which are auctioned to raise funds for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal .

….that symbolises British respect for their armed forces personnel who made the supreme sacrifice for King and Country in both World Wars and Queen and Country since HM came to the throne in 1952.

His excuse for this offensive conduct merely adds insult to injury, in that it arises from his identification with the disloyal republican element in Ulster.

Born in the United Kingdom, he thereby owes allegiance to the Crown, but McClean’s origins lie in Londonderry’s notorious Creggan estate, long infested with Sinn Fein/IRA sympathisers.

Quite a lot of those scum engaged in the terror campaign which murdered innocents all over Ulster, both military and civilian, and on the British mainland too.

Happily, many of the same scum were caught in the act and taken out by brave RUC officers and by the United Kingdom’s admirable armed services personnel.

And THAT’S the problem for McClean, who objects to wearing the poppy because the symbol commemorates military personnel who have died in war…

…not just soldiers who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars.

Well,  I call it treason!

He’s not, as he makes out he is, merely acting up on the issue of who shot who, and why.

He’s a committed enemy of Ulster, eager to endorse Sinn Fein’s scheming, longing to have the alien Eire Tricolour hoisted over the loyal British population there.

He let the mask drop in the recent past, when he

Such blatant support for Dublin’s expansionist aspirations was judged, in retrospect, perhaps a little too brazen, because shortly thereafter…

…for taking him on board, paying him handsomely, and even allowing their ‘pre-match programme’ to serve the enemy cause by including that attempt of his to justify his deplorable behaviour.

He should be booed off the pitch by EVERY British fan every time he shows his obnoxious face. Some fans in the past have done so, and good on ’em.

Don’t let that be a one-off!

Patriots should start work to ensure such denunciations become a regular feature at all fixtures, until WBA fire the foul thing.
