How many of those so-called ‘NGO’ ratbags get funding from Brussels or even the Madrid Government in which Zoido serves?

The VOA report notes correctly that the majority of the ‘migrants’ aka illegal aliens come from from Islamic-majority countries, and Spain fears terrorist attacks by Islamic State and other militant groups. Authorities in Ceuta this year rounded up two cells linked to IS that were allegedly preparing attacks.
So why the HELL doesn’t Senor Zoido authorise his border police (with army support if need be) simply to do what every nation has the right to do – defend their country!

Because Brussels has told Spain that effectively defending borders is a big no-no!
We reported years back how Malignant Malmstrom treated Spain like she would a wayward child, telling the sovereign government in Madrid – ‘don’t you dare hurt the filthy savages!’

The EU Commissioner for Home Affairs, Cecilia Malmstrom, said she was “very concerned” about Spanish police firing rubber bullets to deter migrants. She added that the actions of any EU state protecting its borders should be “proportionate”, and should respect fundamental rights and human dignity.

Incredibly, Madrid didn’t tell that insolent vixen to fox off back then.
These past few months, Prime Minister Rajoy has been portraying himself as a tough guy in the Catalan crisis.
However, unless he and his ministers take the necessary action to stem the barbarian tide – and make no mistake, a dozen or so dead savages photographed strung along that border fence WOULD stem the tide….

And once they’re into Spain?
Then, with the help, no doubt, of the ‘NGO’ Fifth Column, they can apply for ‘asylum’ and slither off, all over Europe.

What kind of country will not order its armed forces to open fire when an invasion is taking place?
Spain’s Prime Minister ( all his ministers) are disgraced by their failure to give the order.
Violent aliens attacking and wounding border security personnel deserve to be shot dead.
As you say, the invasion would cease overnight if Madrid were not more afraid of Brussels than of those savages

But this week they have an interesting article in their Spanish issue headed –
