Hurray, AfD! German Legislators Forced To Face Reality!

Up until the last federal election, it was largely an exercise in Me-Too meandering, the only dings of dissent being crack-pot Greens and the Red ‘Left Party’ shrilling for even more kid-glove carry-ons with regard to crimmigrants.
But this month, with the AfD patriot party now third-largest in the parliament, comes news of a sensible reform being tabled.
EUObserver reports that the Alternative for Germany has proposed a bill that would ban asylum seekers in the country from reuniting with family members from war-torn countries.

“The incentives to come here must end,” said AfD’s Gottfried Curio.
“The magnet must finally be turned off.”
Curio also argued that the system was being routinely abused by those with the status and that many asylum seekers merely claim to be related – “according to the motto: we all come from the same village, where we’re all somehow related.”

Given what we know about the lies and deceit of so many so-called ‘asylum’ seekers, not just in Germany but also elsewhere, like Australia, the man was talking sense.
And while I’m not sure if any AfD speaker specifically singled out Saudi Arabia, the bill’s intro may have caused a blush or two in Riyadh.

The AfD asserted that any relatives of refugees who might be in danger back home in Syria or Afghanistan should instead move to “pacified, or uncontested zones in their home country, or else in protective camps in a neighboring country.”r

Always the AfD speaks for Germany.
