Criminal statistics for Berlin show that 50,000 fewer crimes were recorded last year compared to 2016.
At the same time though, the proportion of crimes which are solved has dropped significantly over the past decade. Whereas in 2007 50 percent of crimes were solved, that number dropped to 44.2 percent last year.

Londoners, Parisians too, face the same kind of hatred, as they have found with the jihadist terror attacks but also the way it’s not been possible for years to walk around parts of their citie without risk of attack by criminals of alien origin.
Police too are careful not to go into the Parisian banlieues alone.
No-go zones are real.

I cannot imagine our capital getting as bad as Berlin.
Canberra will stay boring but some parts of Sydney?
Or Melbourne?

There was once a song about the stimulating air, Berliner Luft.
Now our capital city stinks with smells from the east.
They have poisoned Berlin.
