Europe is a continent, not a nation!
The EU, which we call the EUSSR, is not a sovereign state but a mere supranational construct, certainly with imperial aspirations…
….but until Westminster and the Bundestag and the Riksdag and all the other parliaments in every REAL sovereign nation vote to dissolve their national identity and abandon their constitutional power to retrieve the authority surrendered to Brussels…

Macron was wrong and you are right.
Sovereignty is something that a nation has, or has to lose!
European is just a way of describing a continent and continents are not sovereign entities.
. .
I am English of Italian descent and naturally I like Europe and have had many nice times there on holiday but I do not want to be ruled from across the Channel , whether it’s from Brussels or Berlin.
Macron’s talk of European sovereignty offends me.
