Censorious Swedes – Following Spain To Insanity Fair?
Sweden, as we know, is a country plagued by censorship.
But it’s not just censorship designed to hide the effects of crimmigrant evil from the general populace…
…which we’ve covered before.
Take a look at this ad, below, in Stockholm, an advertising picture used to illustrate an article in The Leftal, sorry, The Local, last week.
=
=
The author, Catherine Edwards by name, doesn’t actually tell us if that particular – and particularly appealing -picture is likely to be outlawed by the nutjobs who run the city.
But she does tell us that the city fathers (oops, sexist, let’s say city councillors!) of Sweden’s capital have just decreed an act of censorship approved by every party with the exception of the Sweden Democrats.
===
Some pinko Green dork has persuaded his comrades that ads must not be ‘upsetting in any way…’
=
=
That’s deputy mayor Daniel Helldén, who got into full rant-mode about his plan to ‘remove advertising billboards deemed sexist or degrading from public spaces…’
So no more‘sexist or racist messages and attitudes’ on something like 700 billboards in Stockholm, but thankfully ‘ those which are not property of the city — such as ads on public transport, run by the regional government — won’t be affected.’
We have had this kind of PC cr-p in other cities, like London, as reported here.
=
And The Local itself reported from Madrid in 2015, on a similar cretinous crack-down on a perfectly inoffensive ad.

Spain Bans Sexist Advert Because It Only Showed Women Doing Housework

You can read that gem of imbecility here.

But then Spain is a country currently run by people with very disordered mentalities, as we noted a while ago.
=
..’no matter how competent at pint-pulling a squat, wrinkled crone might be, wise bar-managers will surely prefer to attract customers by hiring, well, ATTRACTIVE young gals, like those in the photo above perhaps!’
Other parts of that story show very clearly where this madness will end up.
Ikea vows to redesign ‘sexist’ baby changing signs in Spanish stores
Outcry over job ad seeking waitress with ‘nice breasts’
Breast cancer charity race T-shirts branded ‘sexist’ for being ‘too pink’
Cathy reminds us that there have been other censorship examples, including that ridiculous Paris prohibition on advertisements ‘deemed homophobic…’
For pity’s sakes!
Many people took exception to an ad that deliberately sought to normalise sexual aberration, like that Lloyds Bank oddity in Britain…
….but if that sort of sicko garbage is allowed, why shouldn’t ads suggesting disagreement with perversion also be permitted?
That was Merry (‘Gay?’) England, but The Local’s little girl (oops, ‘person!’) adds that Berlin may go down the same authoritarian path.
We have already alerted our readers to German censorship plans…

‘HEIL!’ Misery-Guts Minister Maas
If an advert is truly offensive, it won’t work. People will be put off the product.
If a Green git like Stockholm’s Hellden thinks it’s offensive, then it’s probably just fine.

Lovely stuff, mate. The sexy ads and those barmaids are a tonic we need in our rainy summertime days.
A lot of loopy people in Sweden. And Spain. And Germany. And here.

I have to tell you at once, your usual statements of opinion do not appeal to me AT ALL!
However, you have it right his time.
Why should ads or anything else, excpt toddlers’ bed-time stories, have to be ‘not upsetting in any way?’
Every day I can see or read or hear things that are upsetting.
I can ignore upsetting sights by looking the other way,.
If I hear something that upsets me, I can put on my head phones and listen to jazz.
If I read something that upsets me, I can stop reading it.
Unless it’s somebody trying to get crimes committed, like that Fonda, then I can call the police.
But if something upsets a certain kind of neurotic minority, they want it banned, so the rest of us, who might not be upset, who might be amused, or impressed, or just interested, cannot exercise our own judgment.
Those Swede greens are like ayatollahs.

The Swedes used to be famous for their sexy women.
Now they make themselves a laughing stock this way.

Yes, Ricky, the Swedish left bows to sharia because they let so many in and now they need those voters.
