Swiss Judges Rule Against Democracy!
=====
So now we read that another court in another country has ruled democracy out of order.
…
The Swiss Supreme Court has interdicted a referendum in Valais Canton on the burqa issue, despite the Swiss People’s Party (SVP) having followed constitutional rules and gathered enough signatures (over 4,000) to give citizens a vote on ‘head coverings’ in schools.
…
…
But it’s not just the court to blame – the SVP’s opponents in the cantonal legislature also rejected any right by the people to have a vote.
Every Swiss patriot should descend on the Federal Court headquarters to show their solidarity with the voters of Valais…

What is most offensive about the ruling, and most disturbing, is that one of the reasons the high court gave for ruling against the people was ‘international law!’
No international statute should be permitted to supersede the rights of a sovereign nation.
.
No citizenry should be jackbooted out of their democratic rights because of some supranational convention!
Even less so when the court confuses a right to religious liberty with the ‘right’ to flaunt one’s ( or some parent’s! ) sectarianism.
Listen to this.
.’..the Federal Supreme Court said that the wearing of headscarves indicated a religious conviction and that the Swiss constitution enshrines religious freedom.’
OMG
We have been making the truth known time and again over the years, that there’s NO obligation on Muslim girls to cover either their hair or their faces!
An Archaic Tribal Rag’ – Wise UK Muslim Imam Says ‘Ban the Burqa!’
It’s on the BBC! Bag-Head Bans Do Not Infringe Religious Liberty!
Fiery Islamists – ‘Head-Scarves NOT a Big Issue!’
When will they ever learn?
The good news is that ‘another popular initiative calling for a nationwide ban on such garments is due to be voted on in a referendum.’
Unfortunately, there’s no date yet named for the national ballot…
…but unless some Alpine version of Project Fear is unleashed against the electorate, it should be a clear victory over imported alien customs.
The report tells us that a poll a couple of years ago showed more than SEVENTY PER CENT will vote to approve a ban on face coverings.
