The CDU is beyond hope.
Now they are choosing a new leader and we have one who says one day that the ‘asylum’ rule in the Basic Law ( constitution ) is not good for us then the next day he says he will not try to change it, only talk about it.

He may not understand that the Basic Law on this part cannot be altered even if all the parliament and all the people want it until we have a brand new constitution.
That is a good topic to debate because we Germans never had the opportunity to vote for the Basic Law ever.

If Afghans or any other non-Germans, are due for deportation, it means they hsve committed crimes against innocent people, or else they are proven liars, their claims to be in need of protection shown to be untrue.
So if they find themselves getting what-for when they arrive back where they belong, GOOD!
