Time's Liar Of The Year?
It’s that time of year again for Time Magazine, which many years ago I used to quite like, to announce who is to be the ‘Person of the Year.’
Who Will Be TIME’s Person of the Year for 2018? See the Shortlist
Used to be ‘Man of the Year’ then it was altered to accommodate women – fair enough. But suppose they choose a trans-freak?
That would have to be ‘Thing of the Year,’ I suppose.
But please God they won’t!
Various women are in the running, notably the Duchess of Sussex…aka Megan Markle…and believe it or not…
Dodgy Doorways Into Blasey’s Blurry Brain
That woman has had more than enough attention.
I know it’s not meant to be a measure of good character but even so.
Liars should not be honoured in any way.

Trump should be the winner.
Like him or hate him, he has had a huger impact than anybody else.
Even so, I bet they go for that Saudi journalist.
Journalists are navel-gazers. They always care more about their own.
The Arabs who killed him like that were wicked, yes, and a bad sad ending he had, but so do lots of people.

That is so true, Josef, all the fuss they made over one of their own, night after night, on every news, but when a young woman is raped and murdered by an ‘asylum seeker?’
Different story.
Some of them even say we should not be told if it’s an illegal alien.

Bull’s-Eye, Josef!
The result is out and your prediction was accurate.
What else should we expect of journalists?
As Vicki commented, a number of journalists do suffer misfortunes, some of them dreadful, I admit, and we never hear the end of it.
On the other hand, as Vicki also says, a number of journalists, like that German woman whose photograph Ross shows us over and over –
…
The editor-in-chief defended her decision to suppress the rape story on public TV broadcaster ZDF: “We don’t want to inflame the situation and spread the bad mood.” http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/6501/migration-crisis-germany
…
– are devoid of any professional integrity.
All those girls at Cologne Central Station who suffered indignities, all those Swedish women raped by ‘migrants,’ all the others across Europe and America assaulted and murdered by illegals and ‘asylum seekers?’
And they are just the ones we get to read about.
How many more are hushed up by journalists who, like the German, don’t report honestly because spreading a ‘bad mood’ against an open-border policy is not what they want to do.
It is depressing that journalists behave so badly, and a black mark on all the others who do not call them out for their deliberate negligence.
