..her opinions just as damning, and, from every patriotic German’s point of view, depressing, in that there seems no chance at all that the woman will take her party back to its original fairly healthy principles.
However, the spiked writer does note that –
‘only hours after the vote, there was talk of splits.’
Anything that undermines the CDU is good news.
It’s a party that has long since outlived any usefulness it might once have had – as that same spiked writer reminds us, some 45% of members have quit since 1990.
Splits however are not what’s needed.
