St. Patrick’s Day Question – Will Belfast Court Award Scumbag McLean A Tanner?

    • A few days ago I noticed a news item from Ulster, about that notorious disloyal swine, the fottballer  James McLean, who is to get his hands on a so-far unspecified sum of money from a loyal British politician there.

“In the circumstances, Mr McGimpsey has agreed to pay damages and legal costs to Mr McClean and unreservedly apologise…”

James McClean to receive damages from Belfast councillor …

And why was the widely-respected Ulster Unionist saying sorry to that slug who was born in the UK, and plays for a British football team  – but won’t wear a poppy on Remembrance Day?

Because in the heat of a televised discussion he referred to James McClean as being a ‘super Provo’.

“Mr McGimpsey did not intend to communicate that there was any affiliation between Mr McClean and the Provisional Irish Republican Army.”

I don’t think anybody has suggested that Mclean was or is a member of that terrorist gang. But, as we reported last year…

James McLean hailed Martin ‘Murder’ McGuinness as a ‘hero’ when that Sinn Fein/IRA scumbag kicked the bucket…https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer/international/james-mcclean-pays-tribute-to-hero-martin-mcguinness

Two scumbags, one, McLean, playing for an English club, the other, Murder McGuinness, now burning in Hell!

…but he’s not as bad, arguably, as Stoke City – his refusal to wear a poppy last year got him not the sack, as it should have, but a declaration of ‘respect’ from the slimy club management.

I don’t know if the court is looking for in-put on how much in damages the republican ratbag might collect, but I’d start the downward bidding with a tanner.

Sixpence, aka a ‘tanner’ – there were 240 pence per pound, pre-decimalisation

      Do I hear fourpence halfpenny?

      Do I hear three-farthings?

A man that rejects the basic loyalty that the country he’s born to is entitled to, McLean is not worthy of respect anyway, but when he wont even honour our war dead, he should be told to leave British soil and never return.

Not to disgree with you, Cammie, but getting back to the case in point.
Somebody should start a collection to help McGimpsie pay, because if everyone that hates the sight and sound of McLean and the likes of McLean chipped in, whatever bill comes in, it would be quickly paid.
        No surrender!

A tanner is more than a man like that is worth, damaged or undamaged.
I would give him a kick on his disloyal backside, and not a penny of ‘damages.’

McLean is a good Scots name so somewhere back there he might have had a truly Britisn ancestor, but he is not proud of it. He is a disgrace, born and brought up here in the United Kingdom but not a shred of loyaly to Queen and Country.
I wish him and all the others like him would pack their bags and take themselves across the border never to return.
If it were up to me, he would get enough money for a bus ticket to Dublin, one way, so long as he promised to use it, snd not show his face here evr agwin,
