Another Evil Apostate?

I note the Jakarta Post headlines the story about a foiled Islamist terror plot in terms of a ‘US Army Veteran’ rather than an ‘Apostate Traitor’ but the JP is hardly atypical of the liberal media in this context.

’Mark Steven Domingo, 26, who had combat experience in Afghanistan and recently converted to Islam’ is charged with ‘plotting mass casualties via a home-made bomb at a white nationalist rally in Long Beach…’

Anyone, everyone, has the right to convert to and from any creed, no matter what.

That’s why God gave us brains, to seek after truth as best we can.

I tend to admire people who have the guts to defy bigots and change religion, especially when the bigots are the sort of sicko sectarians who want to see apostates slaughtered.

However, there are apostates and apostates.

Those who put sectarian solidarity above loyalty to country are lower than vermin. Those whose apostasy is an excuse for actual or attempted treasonous atrocities should be themselves put to death.

If Domingo is found guilty, he ought to be strung up.

However, most of you will agree with me there.

It’s the ‘nationalist rally’ targetted by the apostate that piqued my curiosity.

The event was billed as a ‘free speech’ protest and of course American nationalists, white, black or multi-coloured, have as much constitutional right as anyone else to assemble in public and make speeches.

The Long Beach Post carried a report which admits that ‘little is known about UPNF,’ the group allegedly involved, but that didn’t stop a motley rabble of intolerant leftists showing up to ‘stop’ them, apparently taking their cue…

….from accusations emanating from the notorious hate group, ‘the Southern Poverty Law Center.’

The reds, pro-crimmigrants and militant queers must have been disappointed, as no nationalists appeared!

Imagine if the rally had materialised?

Imagine if an apostate turncoat had succeeded in murdering a crowd of Americans exercising their First Amendment rights?

Amendment I. …the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Would we now be seeing the UN’s Ephialtes Guterrez condemning the atrocity?

Would global dignitaries be deplaning in Long Beach to lament the victims of Islamist hate?

Yet somehow I doubt it.
