Silver has told the media that he abhors the use of the word ‘owner’ to describe any man, or presumably woman, who owns a basketball team.

There seems to be NO rational explanation for this new, or at least hitherto unheard of, word-phobia.

Reading between the lines, however…

While some people who are involved in various American sports are known to be obnoxiously uptight about so-called ‘racism…’
