Blockparteien Battered!

The word ‘Blockparteien’ was used in the DDR, the East German puppet state run by the Kremlin’s local Red quislings…

…to describe the ruling party and its collaborationist creatures (who purported to be Christian Democrats, Liberals etc but were in reality just lap-dogs)

The ruling party, curiously, did not call itself the Communist Party – it was the SED, the Socialist Unity Party, named when the KPD forced the SPD socialists into a ‘merger,’ in which the latter had no power at all.

Why the brief history lesson?

Because the word ‘Blockparteien’ has come back into common usage again, used by the common people to refer to the establishment parties which have re-imposed authoritarianism.

Ordinary Germans know all too well that free speech is a dead duck…..

….breathing down the necks of Mama Stasi’s party and her Socialist cronies in states where those ratbags had once ruled the roost!   .
