Expat Teachers? Anxiety Attacks? Here’s The Cure!
I must say I never suffered from ‘anxiety’ during my years as an English teacher in Jakarta.

Occasional exasperation at kids whose parents paid good money to the owners of schools where I taught, kids who had no interest in learning whatsoever – yes, I suffered that.
.
And occasional hangovers.
Some foreigners did get uptight, anxious, even, and some went home after just a year or two, stressed out, as they put it, by the traffic…

…and the heat, the bureaucracy, the exploitative employers.
But I loved my work around the steamy city and still count many of my former students as friends, with whom I meet socially often enough.
Some days were better than others ( see ‘hangovers’ above) and I’m sure being President of the USA can make a person tired, stressed and even anxious…

…from time to time.
But I never exploited my students to assuage my occasional stress.
That makes me different from Sleazy Bill.

But seriously, Clinton is an eternal stain on America, not his misdeeds but the hypocrisy of the Dems and the media that still treat him as a hero.

I never had any anxieties while I was teaching in Jakarta.
Between Blok M and Jl. Jaksa, even if I had, there were enough cures available.
I knew some guys who would hit on students in their classes but only in the adult classes. It was not only, or mostly, a moral consideration, most of us did not want that kind of complication at work.
Clinton obviously was the big boss and felt above all that.
If Clinton had anything like a conscience, he would have done the right thing years ago when he admitted he was a liar.
He would have quit but he relied on the Democrats in Washington to stop impeachment and still he struts around like he’s cock of the walk, if that is not a bad choice of words on my part!
He was the worst ever president, in my opinion.
I won’t use my real name here, in case I ever decide to come back to teaching again.
