But looking overseas too, the situation is concerning, in the USA with damfool authorities in Virginia having –
‘…released dozens of violent offenders, including killers, rapists and kidnappers, blindsiding prosecutors and victims’ families who say they were not properly notified as required by law…’

If they must unleash convicts, how about pick-pockets, rather than killers and rapists who in a wiser age would have been long since executed…
