“How Many 11-Year-Old Boys Have BB Guns?”

That question above grabbed my attention when I was reading an article about a snooper, sorry, ‘teacher’ in Maryland, USA….

…who abused her ‘virtual’ access, during a distance learning lesson with a young lad, by turning sticky-beak, getting an equally unbalanced school ‘resource officer’ to call the cops.

Because the kid had a BB gun mounted on his bed-room wall!

Probably millions!

I certainly had one, when I was a kid, but NOT at age 11 !

I was 6 or 7 years old when I got my first such dreadfully menacing weapon.

I also had regular use of, though technically not ownership of, a .22 rifle, with which I roamed the fields and trees of the ancestral farm.

We had plenty of guns on a rack in the little room between the wood-shed and the kitchen.

She also said that she is not happy that a teacher took a screenshot of her son in her home.

No wonder.

It’s absolutely scary to think about…Who are on these calls? Who do we have viewing your children and subsequently taking these screenshots that can be sent anywhere or used for any purpose?”

Who indeed?

Orwell told us!
