DW – Not Lying This Time, Just Economical With The Truth!

Last week, we named and shamed Germany’s Tax-Funded Propaganda Channel for a deliberate, malicious lie.

Trumpophobe DW News-Reader Lies, Live On TV!

This week, looking through DW’s output since then, we now have an example, not of mendacity as such, but of suppressing key information very relevant to the story.

I’m not talking about what Mama Stasi Merkel allegedly told then French President Sarkozy…

…viz. that as a young woman, she couldn’t wait to be 65 years old, as that was the age at which she would have been allowed to travel under the authoritarian regime..

Merkel may well have made that claim to the Frenchman, but a lot of people will find her version of her youthful thinking unconvincing.

And not only are her loyalties back then open to question on the grounds discussed in our previous posts above, but also because of her extremely authoritarian attitudes, as exposed last year.

Fuhrerin Merkel – I Don’t Like The Result, So Annul The Vote!

Those aspects of Merkel are open to debate, but another is not.

According to the DW scribbler, Sarkozy expressed admiration and respect for German Chancellor Angela Merkel in his recently published memoir.

The two leaders enjoyed a close relationship during Sarkozy’s time in office from 2007 to 2012.

Absolutely true.

BUT the DW scribbler MUST be fully aware of the most scandalous aspect of that close relationship, for which Sarkozy ought to have expressed not so much ‘admiration and respect’ but profound gratitude…

…namely her shameless disregard for the norms of inter-national relations by flagrantly MEDDLING in another country’s domestic politics…

Fuhrerin Merkel Sticks Nose into France, Jackboot into Greece

…and it has always astounded me that amid all the ‘meddling’ ruckus the mainstream media keeps banging on about, blaming Russia, the globalist hacks NEVER mention Merkel’s malevolent intrusion then, boosting Sarkozy’s presidential election campaign…

…nor her much more recent swagger into French politics, shrilling for Le Muppet Macron and dissing his opponent, Marine Le Pen.

She takes the time to see everything and forget nothing,” Sarkozy wrote in his book entitled Le Temps des Tempetes (The Time of Storms). https://www.dw.com/en/frances-sarkozy-admires-angela-merkel-in-memoir/a-54313171

One might wish that DW, whose news-library must have tons of reports about Merkel being seen to meddle, had not so carefully forgotten the Kanzlerin’s sticky-beaking into a neighbour’s affairs that were NONE of her business!

Sarkozy wrote that to underestimate Merkel was “a bad mistake.”
