From Syria With Love? Anti-Terror Cops Grab 2 ‘Returnees’ ..
A few more pats on the back due today, to the police special anti-terror unit officers who scooped up a few more undesirables this week.
…
These guys ( and gals) do a good job, although even here we have whiners who criticise them…

oooooooooo.
..
…what Brits need to focus on is the fact that two of those arrested in Java this week were so-called ‘returnees,’ men who were allowed to come back to Indonesia after spending time as sectarian ‘combatants’ in Syria.

Unlike the UK, Indonesia has recourse to the death penalty, though sadly it hasn’t used it nearly as much as many of us would prefer, no terrorist executed since the Bali Pigs, years and years ago.

Most Indonesians support the death penalty.
I strongly believe most Brits do too.
So too did the UK Home Secretary, Priti Patel, until she u-turned shamelessly in order to obtain ministerial office.

Densus88 do a good job as you say.
They deserve more praise for it.
The ‘returnees’ should be locked up if the government wont execute them for treason, unless they volunteer to do monitored speaking tours around pesantren telling young people that ‘holy wars’ are 100% wrong.

I think same like you, Ross.
If Indonesia men want to fight then they can join TNI to be Indonesia soldier. If they join terror war home or away, best kill them.

I think Indonesia took a big gamble letting these jihadists back in but they are essentially Indonesian so they might be curable.
What’s different in Britain and the USA is that the jihadists were never true to the country they grew up in. What you say and have said many times about how sick some of them are, putting their ideology above country, same as communists, only its religious prejudice.
They are almost certainly incurable.
