My mum tells me men used to give up their seats to women on the London Tube. Not any more.
I guess the Turks are rude to women for religious reasons but we can’t get too high horse about their bad manners. She did get a sofa to sit on so not a lot to complain about.
After all that’s happened to other women as you say, thanks to the government she was part of and has never criticised, she has a nerve to make such a fuss.

This must be the least admirable woman in public life, on our side of the Atlantic, and all you say about her is fair comment.
Many of your British readers will have heard her raucous threats to punish the UK. Unusually, Erdogan will score a few points for ‘parking’ her on his sofa.
