So I checked, and he’s not been featured here before.
But I strongly suspect he will be!
SO much guff, emotive words.
‘Huddling,’ for example, rather than lurking.
It’s plain he’s just another pro-crimmigrant pedlar of sob stories, for which he provides no witnesses, nor corroborative evidence.
Sure, it’s hard to substantiate one illegal’s rape accusation, though the culprits are just as likely to have been illegal aliens…

At no point does Lowen mention the inherent odd contradictions of this yarn.
Moreover, the BBC hack appears to be remarkably ill-informed on the Lampedusa situation.
He says the Italian population (only 6000 souls) showed ‘hospitality’ towards successive hordes of arrogant, ingrate, violent savages.

Lowen does admit that the influx of savages contributed to a huge vote for Matteo Salvini’s patriot party in the last election.
However, one passage in his report is alarming, because it has the ring of truth –

Now THAT is a scandal, which any real journalist would want to investigate.
WHY are these fakers not rounded up and deported ASAP?
WHO is responsible for letting undesirable aliens stay where they’ve no right to stay?

I had to use that BBC link to confirm what you reported.
Not that you are often incorrect but it was hard to believe any BBC reporter would willingly reveal how badly the authorities in Italy and Brussels neglact their duty to send these aliens back.
It is as you say scandalous but the majority of the media have little interest in exposing those responsible.

Any real journalist would jump at the chance of exposing a major scandal like this.
Even so, in view of the BBC’s bias, I’m surprised he even got to include it in his report.
