Now we have Nadine Dorries, to whom Bojo has newly handed the  Culture portfolio, panicking the far-left Independent, which has published a list of sensible things she has said.

One of her plus points, from decent people’s point of view, comes from May 2013, when she tweeted:

“If gay marriage bill takes sex out of marriage could a sister marry a sister to avoid inheritance tax?”

Dorries was then an ardent opponent of aberrant ‘marriage!’
