The US Senate will take up a critical procedural matter, likely tomorrow, when they attempt to make an exception to the longstanding filibuster rule in a last-ditch attempt to pass voting “rights” legislation (which is actually a federal takeover of elections). This is a critical vote because if the radical left succeeds with this gambit, the “exception” will soon be expanded to other issues on their agenda such as the dangerous Equality Act that targets all NOM supporters. Please call your US Senators today at 202-224-3121 and ask them to oppose any change to the filibuster rule.

The Equality Act is the single most damaging legislation every proposed attacking our values and way of life. It makes demonstration of support for traditional marriage to be illegal discrimination against homosexuals, imposes vast elements of the radical LGBT agenda into federal law (including changing the definition of sex to be “gender identity”) and strips Americans of their statutory religious liberty rights. NOM has led opposition to this legislation, and the filibuster rule has been a key weapon in our arsenal.
