Obviously, the deportee can take his child with him, or her, if the child wants to go, and if there is no ex-spouse in the UK with a custody order.

So what’s the big deal?

That was the big feature in The Times, yet nobody made the obvious point that I make above.

Another ‘Law Report’ on whether criminals should not be sent to prison because their brats might miss ’em?

Undesirable aliens have no place in any country but their own.
