Censorship is usually a bad thing, as we have said before, notably when here in Indonesia a major book business….

…collaborated with benighted sectarians in a book-burning episode.

But this report, on the brutal red bandit regime in Beijing..

‘Chinese censors have in the past targeted the film’s main character due to memes that compare the bumbling bear to the president…’

is worth discussing, in that Pooh has been not merely ‘bumbling,’ but beloved, by generations of children, myself included, a faithful  friend…..

….to an evil communist tyrant like Adolf Xi.

Yes, I understand it’s a horror version of the cuddly bear….
