It’s another case of cutting of the nose to spite the face. Indonesia has no common border with Israel, no quarrels over land or trade.
It’s just pure anti Israel prejudice and I guess with Indonesia’s election near, domestic politics at work, delving for the lowest i.e. fanatic votes
