Ayo, Jokowi! Death To Terror! Defy The Brussels Bullies!

Grand news today, from right here in Jakarta!

A notorious sectarian terrorist has been sentenced to death!

    =

    Aman Abdurrahman

    ======

Although four of the scum who took part in the savage attack two years ago outside the Sarinah shopping centre in downtown Jakarta were taken out successfully…

Satanic Evil Stalks Sarinah! Start Executions, Please, Jokowi!

….the beast known as Aman Abdurrahman has been behind bars (more or less – it seems ‘the court heard he planned the attacks from his jail cell!’) ever since, vigorously resisting attempts by prosecutors to have him executed for his role as mastermind of the atrocity, which saw four innocent people also lose their lives.

One media report this week reminded us that Abdurrahman is not only seen as the ‘de facto’ leader of local fans of the ISIS rape-gang…

    =

    =

….but is also the spiritual leader of local extremist network Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD).

    http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/world/2018/06/22/radical-indonesian-cleric-faces-death-penalty-ruling-for-2016-attack/

But it wasn’t until this very day, while I was sitting on a bus in East Jakarta, that I heard the splendid news that justice will be done.

Indonesian Islamic State cleric gets death sentence for Jakarta attack …

Of course we were hoping for this – Wise Words In A Jakarta Court – Death To Terrorists!– but we were not counting any chickens, not till the court ruled him guilty of terrorism, and confirmed the appropriate sentence.

Yet even now, there will be ranting from thousands of evil jihadists and those who purport to disown terrorism Oh Yeah? IslamoNazi ‘Kill-Kill-Kill’ Ranter Condemns Jakarta Terror! but quaintly abhor any suggestion of proper punishment for terrorists.

And I’m not talking about the dumb dorks here in Indonesia who like to dress up as Arabs or Afghans and embarrass themselves by going out in public thus garbed, shrilling Islamist hate.

President Jokowi will face a much more formidable foe, maybe not shrill but sedulous…

    =

    President Jokowi

    =

….in its determination to save the necks of nefarious vermin like Abdurrahman, whatever obscene crimes may have been committed.

    Guess who!?!

    We told you long ago!

The European Union is the leading institutional actor and largest donor in the fight against death penalty worldwide.

    https://ec.europa.eu/europeaid/sectors/human-rights-and-governance/democracy-and-human-rights/fight-

And the UK, like a servile Brussels flunkey, has been arrogantly interfering in Indonesian internal affairs for years!

UK’s Jakarta Rep Frantic to Save Terrorist Skins -A Neo-Colonialist Par Excellence!

UK’s May Tells Jokowi – ‘Don’t Put Down ISIS Terrorists!’

Jokowi has shown guts in defying previous cacaphonous clamour from overseas sticky-beaks on this issue.

Let’s hope he stands as firm on this latest case, and that Abdurrahman gets what he truly deserves.

I just saw this on the news so I thought you would be on it!
I always felt it was stupid for foreign countries to lecture Indonesia about the death penalty as a principle.
It was different when Australia made protests about those Australian drug smugglers. Guilty or not, they were Australians.
The EU has a bad record of butting into things that are none of its business, like when Thailand executed that killer this month. You wrote about that too.
There was no reason for any government to interfere unless the convicted man was a citizen of theirs and that killer was a Thai with no connection to Europe.
You were right about that and you are right about this.
I hope Jokowi tells the EU to go fly a kite.

      Quite right!
You asked us just a few days ago to email Thailand to refute EU quibbling on the death penaly, so let’s all do the same again and let President Jokowi know the EU has no right to misrepresent us.
It might make no difference but I hate it when those Brussels sprouts pretend they speak for us.

Most of us in England wish May would hang terrorists!
If Indonesia does the right thing and shoots this terrorist, that would be setting a good example for May to follow.

You yourself are quite right, Fiona.
People should send their thoughts to the President, politely offering their view that the Euro-Commissars do not speak for European people and he need take no notice of Brussels if they try to interfere..
Always good to undermine their intrusive antics.
Just use Google for your local Indonesian Embassy contact info, but for you, here’s their UK embassy address. email: kbri@btconnect.com

          Thanks, Ross.
I will circulate this to people likely to take the few minutes needed to help let Indonesians know we support capital punishment for terrorism. So many agree with us but are too lazy to do anything, even type an email.

I will do as you and Fiona suggest.
It’s not acceptable for these EU nosey-parkers to be lying like that when they must know very well that if we had referendums in Britain or many other European countries then terrorists would be ‘hanged by the neck until dead,‘ as I think the judges used to say when pronouncing sentence.
I hope the Indonesian president will pay no attention to Brussels.

      Thank you, Ross.
Our President Jokowi should tell Europe that they cannot push us around.
The terrorist is guilty and the sentence is fair.

If Indonesia is finally going to do what’s right then it is none of the European Union’s business.
We didnt always think very highly of the policies of President SBY but we warmly welcomed the execution of the Bali Bombers.
Now Jokowi has the chance to show Indonesia is serious about wiping out terrorism. He will as you say face pressure from the bad element here but if the EU joins in to try and save this jihadist, I hope he will tell them to go to hell.
They should clean up the mess they are making of Europe and leave Indonesians to get on with cleaning up their country.

What do they do to fight terorists?
I read all you write and so I know the English and the Belgians let ISIL (Daesh) come live there eventhough they did terorist actions in Iraq.
We do not need teaching from Brussel bullies. It is a war and in war we shoot enrmies.
      Thankyou.

Sarinah Attack – Terror Convict, Freed Early, Faces Charges!

In December 2010, Aman was sentenced to nine years in prison for funding a militant training camp in Aceh, a case which involved dozens of militants.

    http://jakartaglobe.id/news/recidivist-convict-named-suspect-2016-sarinah-attack/

    OKAY?

Got your junior high arithmetical skills assembled?

    Read on!

In February 2005, he was sentenced to seven years in prison following explosions at his home in Depok, West Java. He was reportedly assembling bombs.

    NINE PLUS SEVEN= WHAT?

I make it sixteen, so if he was jailed in 2005, he should have got out…FOUR YEARS from now?  Even if we skip the first 2005 sentence, if he got nine years in 2010, he ought still to be sitting in a cell somewhere, till 2019.

Did I get my sums right?

    =

    =

Now we read of the third case against Aman Abdurrahman, who was released last Thursday after receiving remission to his nine-year jail term at a prison on Nusakambangan Island in Central Java…

National Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Martinus Sitompul told the media this week that “he stands accused of inciting the Thamrin attack and of being a conduit for funding it.”

We must now await the trial and the next sentence, if he’s found guilty.

But there are surely questions to be asked about why this sectarian fanatic was given remission.  Did he do anything to earn it? Did he give police useful info? Did he even express remorse, or repentance?

    Maybe?

    No, none of the above.

According to an earlier report in the JG, this ‘Islamist cleric’  ( yeah, ‘cleric!’) received a sentence remission on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of Indonesia’s independence.

So to celebrate freedom, you unleash a bitter foe of every freedom people value?

    C’mon!

This example does make me think, though, that if the death penalty…

….exalted by President Jokowi for drugs-related offences, were imposed for all terror-related crimes, this kind of question would not need to be asked.

      Can’t complain Ross.
Brussels won’t let us execute terrorists here.
Even if they did, Theresa May hasn’t enough gumption to restore capital punishment.
